Under What Circumstances Should Someone Be Given A Referral To The Counseling Center? The Counseling Center assists individuals who have finished resident rehab programs and have progressed to a point where they may live at their own house but require continued support for sobriety and mental health. In order to refer a patient to our center, they have to be: 14 years of age or older Finished with detox for alcohol and/or drugs Medically stable Need specialized support for maintaining sobriety or dealing with mental health disorders Devoted to participate in mental health counseling to address addiction and mental disorders
Will Referrals Be Kept In Confidence?Of course! We keep all patient information in confidence. We only talk about their care with them, you as their healthcare provider, and their designated relatives.
What Should I Expect After Submitting A Referral? When you submit a referral to The Counseling Center, someone will respond promptly, no matter the day or time. We’ll discuss if our support fits the patient’s needs at the moment or if they require a different type of care for their present phase of substance use or mental health rehabilitation. If we determine The Counseling Center At Millbury is the best option for them, we’ll proceed with a psychological assessment and explore their insurance coverage and self-pay possibilities. After this assessment, we’ll suggest the right treatment for them and enroll them in one of our adaptable outpatient programs.
